Wotcha!
Well, it's finally here.
After weeks of researching, compiling, formatting, reformatting, and repeatedly checking links, I’m excited to share The Adult Non-Alcoholic Cider Guide with you.
You’ll find out all about the guide further down in this edition of the newsletter.
But first, why adult non-alcoholic cider?
Two reasons:
I really love NA cider, and I wanted to know what else was out there. I’ve recommended a handful over the years in this newsletter, but I had no real idea just how many there were across North America. I certainly didn’t expect to find 60 different varieties. Sixty!
Nobody seems to talk about the non-alc cider category. Pretty much all the other categories get plenty of attention, and yet we rarely hear much about cider. So I wanted to try and change that in my own small way. To shine a spotlight on non-alcoholic ciders and give them more of the attention they deserve.
I hope you enjoy it and find a few non-alc ciders you never knew existed.
Enjoy some great drinks this week!
Myles

I've managed to track down 28 cider brands producing 60 non-alcoholic ciders across the U.S. and Canada.
From traditional dry styles to hopped, fruity and botanical creations, there's plenty to explore.
The guide includes product pictures, brand descriptions, tasting room locations and, most importantly, links to help you easily find these drinks. I’ve done the research so you don’t have to!
The guide costs $5. That's less than the price of a pint of cider!
I've always tried to make The Modern Substitute a useful resource for anyone exploring the world of adult non-alcoholic drinks, and I'll continue to do that every Saturday.
But putting together guides like this takes a fair bit of time, so I'm hoping that charging a few dollars will help support the work and make future projects possible.
And hopefully, in return, you'll find a fantastic new cider or two that you might otherwise have missed.
Thanks, as always, for reading and supporting The Modern Substitute.
